In our fast-paced society many people experience problems with digesting all the sensory information that they encounter on a daily basis. Consequently they feel stuck or blocked, and find it hard to focus and rest.
While practicing yoga improves physical fitness, flexibility and balance it also helps to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety.
My teaching blends a flow style practice with Kundalini and yin yoga sequences to enhance and balance the flow of energy in the meridian and organ systems. Meditation and breath practices are integrated to help remove mental and emotional tension. All these aspects help us bring together the elements within ourselves that often get fragmented in our everyday busy lives.
Practising yoga together with others is about having fun instead of competing with each other. We open our hearts and create more space in our bodies and minds, so that we feel balanced and light, yet grounded.
There are many ways you can benefit from personal yoga training. Maybe you are new to yoga, or you recently experienced an accident, a concerning diagnosis, or a medical intervention. Perhaps it is difficult for you to keep up with the pace in group classes, or you simply want support with alignment in the postures.
My teaching consists of yoga sequences inspired by Ayurveda to balance the overall energy flow. I also incorporate my astrological knowledge, helping you align with the cosmic influences to experience more ease in your daily life. Meditation and breathing practices are integrated to reduce emotional, mental, and physical tension.
Your individual needs determine whether the yoga practice is more invigorating or relaxing, and to what extent I address physical or emotional-mental weaknesses and special features.
As a yoga trainer, and expert in energy work, I am familiar with trauma-sensitive approaches that can be applied if required.
All of the above and more can be addressed during a personal yoga session. You have my undivided attention, knowledge and experience to provide a tailor-made solution to meet your needs on that particular day and to help you keep up the practice.
We can work together both in presence or online via Zoom. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
